Chapter 1:Master Andressen

The story begins...

A young landlord, in the name of Master Andressen, was roaming around his father's lands. He was 7 when his parents were killed by soldiers of Retsnom. He now lives alone with his servants and his most loyal guardian: Trenton. But he can defend himself. He was born naturally with the legacy of (maybe) an archmage's blood. He also has strength, beyond even normal soldiers. His speed too, he can outrun a cheetah. While he has those traits, he will fully utilize it to destroy the Retsnom and fulfill his dreams. But he is only a landlord. He can only be much of a support for the Monster. But then, an idea came to his mind: What if he helped himself cross the path up to a General rank? He would be an effective aid to Monster, increasing his reputation and can even tip the stalemate of war. He wandered around, as many thoughts cross his head. Until finally, he chose to serve ARM (Armed Regiments of Monster). But everytime a new recruit joined, their rank were called "Runners". Runners are trained to be quick. Their main purpose is to scout ahead and report back to their sergeants. Or, they can send messages from one camp to another. A great support class on any faction. But, they were only restricted to shape roamers. So, he decided to join despite the abilities and rank...

He entered Camp Blackshield along with many other recruits. He was respected for his fame and fortune. Many soldiers along with him, won most battles. After several more battles, he was ranked to sergeant. He was an excellent trainer, had a sadistic attitude and knew many tactics. They won a lot more battles especially the "Battle of Voidfront". An unforgettable battle that he caught the generals' and commanders' attention.

[[SIDE STORY]]
THE BATTLE OF VOIDFRONT
From: Andressen's Battle notes
Date:Gerlin 54, 8372601
It was a dark and beautiful night at Voidfront. A massive desert with dark-gray sands and huge, tall dark-gray boulders. It is so massive that the north path will lead to a gorgeous shaft. Many believed that at the end of the shaft is a huge flat land with cave holes on the walls leading to endless mazes of tunnels. Others also say that they have found treasure after spelunking in there for several months. Others say that a specific cave hole can be an alternate entrance to the void. It is a real mystery to anyone. Unless, maybe I can explore it in my own someday?
The night is getting colder and we need more firewood. Ordered my squad to take from our supplies and light them. We ate and warmed up for a time, then we fed our creations. A few minutes later, those enraged Retsnoms arrived. Charging and flailing their weapons, roared in unision. We ran to our posts and others too. I was behind a boulder, after a few seconds, a firework blew from the dark sky, signalling the attack. We scattered and charged our enemies. I was thrown by a battle alpha to jet inside their army and cause chaos. Me and other allies too. I slipped three smoke balls from my pocket and it blinded a handful of soldiers. We struck down maybe two or three groups of Retsnoms. But we escaped as the Unbounds approached. Good thing we had mindbreakers. They clouded the minds of the Unbounds, turning over the side of the war. It was a war full of smoke, dust, rage and chaos. Most of my allies were lost. But we emerged in victory.

He is becoming a remarkable soldier and even shaped a lethal creation on his lieutenant days. Most would call him the "Soldier of Fortune". But, as he ranks up and up, he strives more harder to complete any tasks. After three years of non-stop battle plans and positioning, he is now on an honorable rank: Major General. It was the best position that anyone at Monster can ever imagine. They have fewer responsibilities but more privileges. They can even train and gain power from the eight "Blades of Monster". He first chose to meet the eight blades of Monster and ask questions.

He walked up from his bedroom. It was private and comfy. He dresses on his best suit and marches to the quarters of the eight. On the gate, a man in rich black robes with a few red stripes and an emblem of Monster's faction approached Andressen. He was told to write his signature at entrance/exit log in order to get in. He signed and went inside.

It was a beautiful and massive mansion with sparkling water fountains, nobles, major generals and those families who supported and were loyal to Monster for six hundred years. There were tremendous statues made of gold and silver and jewel-crusted pillars. The air is fresh and clean. Completely pure water flowing from neat streams and waterfalls, complete tranquility of a little nature. He thought this out that peace is something that Monster and Retsnom could have at least once. He could readily imagine a better place than this without war.

Journey to the "Blades of Monster"
He stopped overawing himself and his thoughts and tried to find the blades of Monster. After several dozen minutes, he found them. They were at their meeting place named "Monster's Sword" He entered and they were excited to see a visitor. They all stood up and presented their-selves from weakest to strongest.

Usually, at times like these, nobles and anyone rich enough can make contract with the Blades. Although, they need artifacts that suit them well, not money. After Andressen met them all, he chose Nightwatcher to be his bodyguard and advisor until he finds his real parents for a payment of a rare Black Diamond. Nightwatcher agrees on this. Andressen feels safe as Nightwatcher walks beside him. Like a shadow. Then, they continue their adventure.

Death fog peaks
"...An extremely pale mountain, that is." Nightwatcher said. Andressen pointed at the map "This place is what I clearly remembered where my real parents first brought me." Nightwatcher inspected the map "The eastern side has lesser wind, but steeper slopes. The southern side has colder winds but has lots of cliffs, small paths and a few caves. That would be the better place to move." Andressen nods. And prepares his pack.
After several feet from the start, they found a path with a flat area. They laid their tent and boiled water. Andressen suddenly creases his snow jacket. "What's the matter?" Nightwatcher asks. "I feel something heart-throbbing, something that reminds me of... of..." he trails off. Then he mutters loudly "Doesn't matter." He drinks his hot water and Nightwatcher folds the tent. It slowly tuens darker and darker as they go upper. Nightwatcher hisses, his left eye glowing brightly crimson red. "Yesssss, the full moon's face, bright as ever, facing the widest and the narrowest of the landsss." They climbed higher and higher as the air gets thinner and thinner, Andressen could not bear it no longer. He goes unconscious and falls from the mountain walls like a corpse. Nightwatcher pulls him by the rope strapped in his pack. Unfortunately, Andressen's arms slipped from his bag and his position goes up side down where the last rope on his belt that held him, slipped from his legs. Suddenly, a bed sized mesh of wires was waiting for him a few feet below. As he fell on the mesh, it started elevating upper and upper, and rolled him back to Nightwatcher. He grins and sees a maiden clad in red above them was impatiently waiting. Wireweaver said "I'd thought you two can do it alone." Nightwatcher replied "We are after a lost memory from my master." "How interesting..." She said while absorbing the remaining wires. They brought him to a nearby hut.

Strange's home
Nightwatcher knocked at the door several times. Then, as he was about to knock another time, an old man with black tattered robes and a gray beard looks at them both. "Cripe!!! What do you fruitlumps want at this time of the night?" Wireweaver responded "Well, it is getting colder and colder out here and we do need shelter for this unconscious young man." The old man suddenly, went berserk and ran around his own house like monkey, climbing and drinking random potions and laughing like a madman. This vein continues for several minutes. Suprisingly, he jumped so hard and broke his own roof. He had his head stuck on the roof while his lip turns into an O-shape. Then he flails his hands and legs mindlessly, imagining them as tentacles. He screamed "You may go inside and leave my roof and my soltitude alone. They enter the hut and found a single dirty bed. Nightwatcher then, took turn to carry Andressen. wireweaver requested "Can't we have a better bed than this?" The man replied "Blah Blah Blah Me and my solitude LOLOLOLOL (literally, he did not laugh. He actually said it) My head stuck on a roof Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah.""Why don't we try there?" Wireweaver said while pointing at a cellar. "Alright." They both went downstairs and saw chests, supply crates, magical goods, potions and mundane magical items. They looked around and saw an imp running towards them followed by an angry demon wearing a chef's hat and an apron, holding a frying pan. "Damn! get back here you annoying freak!" The imp shouts at them "Tell the demon that I'm here to greet you and become your tour guide! I promise to give you a rare chocolate bar!!!" Nightwatcher said "Alright you can stop chasing him now, he's our tour guide." The demon shrugs instantly and gets back to the kitchen. "Well thanks pal, I'll inform you the best I can anytime you wish.
[[Strange's Home]]
Nightwatcher and Wireweaver sat down while asking the imp few questions:
-"Who owns this home?"
"Ah yes, the mighty master: Strange"
-"Strange"
"He prefers to be called Strange. Nobody knows his real name"
-"Strange? What does he do?"
"He specializes or even excels in strange magic that no one can ever counter or nullify"
-"Is his attitude actually like that?"
"His name talks for him -____-"
-"Does he have a lab?"
"Of course he does! But it is completely unusual"
-"Are you his creatures?"
"You don't say, we are his butler, servant and bodyguards."
-"Where's our chocolate?"
"Whoops! Look at the time! It's dinner time! Imma go cook! Who wants tender-grinded savory meat on a bread? Of course! You do! So brb"
He dashed of to the kitchen basement, he was surprised by the demon chef and he got hit in the head with the frying pan.
The demon told him "I am cooking 300 tender-grinded savory meat on a bread and you're not helping!" The imp replied "Alright, alright. Sheesh, I'm going to cook my specialty..." "You better do it" The demon ended the conversation.
They explored the underground and found the dining room. It is surprisingly luxurious despite it is underground. The stone walls are painted with gold and black, with a red velvet carpet, a long dining table and pure silver utensils. Nightwatcher placed Andressen on a chair while Wireweaver and Nighwatcher sat on the opposite sides of the table. Three minutes later, A dozen demons with a butler's outfit, placed 4 silver dish & domes near them. Andressen woke up to the aroma of good food, they saw strange enter and he sat on another chair. He placed his head on the sandwiches and randomly devoured them while his arms and legs were flailing wildly. He drank the curry in a few seconds, then he shouted "Imp! You imbecile! I told you not to waste that chocolate on your special curry!" Suddenly, he exploded twice without damaging nor moving anything. Again, as usual. They finished their food and asked Andressen why he passed out. Andressen answered "I felt something, heart-throbbing, some kind of cold and treacherous memories in that very area." Nightwatcher grinned. "Haha! Cold and treacherous memories? you mean Mr. Strange flailing and exploding!!!" "Cut it out!" Andressen, annoyed, stopped Nightwatcher. "I am serious!" Wireweaver smiled at the arguement. "Yes, I felt that feeling, it was something, it is a lost bit of my memory." Andressen added. "The only thing in that area is Strange's home" Nightwatcher said, snickering. "Let us go back again outside. And let us see." Andressen said. So, Nightwatcher, Wireweaver and Andressen bade Strange good by. Nightwatcher, carrying Andressen in his arms, jumped to where he fainted. "That feeling again..." Andressen said, he is trying hard not to faint again. I walked around a few times, we digged some snow off the area. Andressen hit something that went BLLOKKK!!! He took it out, and saw a wooden, baby's cradle. He fainted again. This time, I caught him. Wireweaver carried the cradle, while we go back to the land of Monster...
